The infraction was called griefing instead of feeding. The player was playing Ursa and he was obviously feeding and stole creep camps from other players. I was given the option to watch a majority of the game without the auto timestamp fast forward. The interface was easy to use and as it should be there was no way to identify who the actual player was. Also, I was automatically fast forwarded to the next suspected timestamp infraction without warning. However, I could not make my decision solely based on where the timestamp indicated the violation/infraction, because that was not enough information. It almost seemed as if each infraction had a timestamp. I was a little thrown off by the time frame in which the suspected violations occurred. I pressed the tab and was immediately locked on to the suspected violator along with the type of infraction. After reading the overview and instructions, I opted in by download the first game. I noticed in the top left of my Dota dashboard screen the option to participate in Overwatch. Without proper punishment the violators feel free to keep up negative behavior. Not to mention the report system is flooded with reports everyday and I do not think Valve has the manpower However, not all violations are so blatant. The feeder is sent to low priority because everyone reported them. The MMR is already gone and you never got a chance to see the true potential of your build and strategy. The feeder gets reported for feeding/griefing by all the players on both teams but, that still feels like it is to little to late. 35 minutes of your life wasted along with your precious MMR. Now morale is down and the enemy gets aggressive, and snowballs their way to a 25 minute victory. The Luna support says if you do not shut up I am going to feed! The Luna support gives up first blood and starts running into the enemy tower for the first 10 minutes of the game. Already feeling tension, the team starts bashing the Luna pick. Now the enemy hard counters another core and the position 5 gets last pick and picks Luna as support. The mid has to pick next, because the support that was suppose to pick second, seems to be afk. The enemy picks hard counters to your safelane. The second pick causes everyone to lose 12 gold each, so the offlane and you the safelane hurry up and pick. Pick your hero! The first hero to be picked is a support which makes you happy because he will synergize well with your carry that thankfully did not get banned this game.
You are eager to play but you are watching the other players' games load since you have fast internet. Almost falling out your chair, you hurry up and accept before you get penalized.
After 3 minutes that exciting Dota theme song sounds tells you your game is ready and to accept. You finally figure out the build you want, and the strategy that just might be good enough to get you over that 51% win rate, so you can climb the MMR ladder! You queue for a game and watch the pros play live while you wait. thinking about your favorite hero all day. Imagine coming home from a long day of school, work, etc.
